  • Professional: 15 year career at Google, with more than 12 years of management across 10 global offices, where I received multiple leadership awards and nominations; author of The Safety Effect and leadership consultant for a variety of businesses, from small nonprofits through Fortune 100 organizations

  • Entrepreneurial: Founded multiple companies, including a management consultancy, multi-million dollar real estate rental company and two philanthropically aligned apparel companies

  • Education: BA Biology (University of Colorado), MS Biology (University of Cincinnati), and MBA (University of Michigan)

​I â€‹grew up in Cincinnati, OH and moved many times as an adult. After spending time in Columbus, Ann Arbor, Boston, Denver, Boulder, San Francisco and Chicago, I returned to Cincinnati to be near family and pursue this next career journey. I currently reside in a northern Cincinnati suburb with my wife, two young kids and dog.

Belay Finance pulls it's name from my time exploring in the mountains. When climbing a mountain with a friend, there is often one person ascending the peak and another at the bottom holding the rope. The person at the bottom is the belayer. They can guide the climber toward the best route and stop the climber from dropping too far, if they fall off the rock.

 

I am here to belay you along your financial ascent, help guide you toward the best route and support you if you feel like you might fail.

With nearly 30 years of investing experience across equities and real estate, 15 years of corporate experience and a proprietary approach to portfolio analysis, I'll enjoy helping you achieve your financial goals.​​
